Basketball Fight

There is no crying in baseball, but it looks like there is fighting in basketball. A tense rivalry game between the Cincinnati Bearcats and Xavier Musketeers ended in an epic brawl. I can’t decide if I want to call it the 2011 Fade Fest or the 2011 Fadington Gala. Xavier won the game, but as you will see from the video, Cincy won the fight.

When keeping it real goes wrong… Here you have a team, Xavier, with an opportunity to have a special season, and yet, keeping it real is more important. Tu Holloway is probably out of the NPOY discussion now. ..smh.

Watching these young brothers in the post game interview was sad. Have some self-respect and admit defeat when you’ve made a fool of yourself and who you represent. No one won on Saturday. Two programs were given black eyes. You can play hardnosed defensive minded basketball without resulting to violence. Teams like DUKE, Pitt, Cuse, MSU and Butler have shown that…

Something always happens here in Cincinnati where we’re always put on the map with negativity smh…. Oh well, I’m salty my Beartcats lost though #diehardBearcatfan
