stupid. the producer is obviously not cultured, if he’s a dictator for a north african country (meaning Arab country) then how the fuck are they playing PUNJABI MC as the background song when Punjabis are pakistanis NOT ARABS. If you gonna make fun of dictators (which i believe one should) do it right.
the music has not a damn thing to do with the movie, idiot!
The producer isn’t cultured… it’s a comedy you jackass. Get a sense of humor
Why use punjabi music at all? Sikhs get mistaken for arabs/muslims all the fucking time in the US – why propogate that stereotype? If they had made it obvious they were making fun of that stereotype (southpark style), I would have no problem with it. But subtley including a punjabi song in the trailor for a movie about a libyan dictator goes against all the work sikhs have been doing to avoid mistaken identity in the US; which has previously led to serious hate crimes in the past.
Anyway, Cohen is a great actor and I am excited for this movie. Ciao!
His comedy is nothing but stereotype dingy! that’s what makes it funny.
Many comedians use stereotypes…. everyone from Richard Pryor to present.
It’s comedy!!!!
bunch of dummies here
This movie basically displays how ignorant humans can be…
Stupid director doesn’t know shit about Punjabi people and using our song in freaking Arabic dictator movie, Punjabi language totally differs from Arabic, their religions are different, we are not even from same place in the world, than whytf he had to relate us.
Boo! don’t wanna see this scripted shit.
ya i hate movies with scripts….
o wait
If his previous two films weren’t about him being socially disruptive in unscripted situations then your attempt at sarcasm would been well played. I understand the freedom of the internet has convinced you can sound off on everything to your hearts content BUT sometimes it’s best to just shut the fuck up .
Should I get really mad too?
