the.LIFE Files had the honor of being invited to the White House yesterday for a Holiday Party (thanks Hadiyah) hosted by President Obama and Michelle for young community activists helping to make change in the world. We got to have some great food and take a mini tour of some of the rooms of the White House. Check out pictures of the white chocolate White House replica cake and the special staircase that President Obama uses almost daily after the jump.

A Black man at the helm of our nations capitol, political differences aside, pretty awe inspiring… for a country to come so far, so fast.
Now as far as where the hell we’re headed, and how long it will take us to lay waste to our republic… that’s a different story.
