Drake Is Not Happy About This Tattoo

by admin on 12/23/2011 · 29 comments

After this photo vent viral showing a woman who had “tatted Drake’s name on her head so he knows it’s real” the rapper has finally responded, and not in the way we thought. Here’s what he said in a recent online interview:

“The guy who tatted it is a f*cking a**hole though. I will tell you that. I dont fu*ck with that guy. F*ck you to that tat artist by the way, because your an a**hole for real. And you should lose you job. And you should never do tattoos again. And I don’t f*ck with you. And if I ever see you I’m going to f*ck you up.”

See what the tattoo artist originally said that may have ruffled Drake’s feathers as much as this bad idea after the jump.

How did you react when she told you what she wanted done?

The funny thing is, I didn’t know who Drake was, I figured it was her hood or some shit, not some goofnugget R&B dude.

Did she talk about what it meant to her? Had she been planning for it for a long time or was she kind of just like, “put it on my forehead” and that’s it?

Yeah, she was really psyched about it. She had the shitty font all picked out on her iPhone ready to go and was pretty adamant about putting it on her forehead. She didn’t say a word about what it meant to her, some of the guys at the shop asked her, and she just kinda giggled at them. When I printed up the first image of the lettering, she wanted me to go bigger, so that it went pretty much from each side of her hairline to the other. I thought she shaved her eyebrows for the procedure, so when I put the stencil on the first time, it was right over her (missing) eyebrows, but she had me enlarge it a bit and push it up towards the hairline. But yeah, she acted as if she had planned it out for a while; though I’m not really sure how much extended coherent thought could actually go into getting such a stupid tattoo on your forehead.

The tattoo artist was right! It is a stupid tattoo to get…..and it WOULD have made more sense if it was her hood….and you ARE R&B dude…WTF are you so mad about?…..

Does that stand for “Dick Riding Ass Kissing Emcee”? When did Drake get so tough? In my opinion, he’s a really good Hip Pop artist…but this tough guy talk is pure comedy and has to go. I expect rhetoric like this out of cornballs like Jim Jones and GAME, not from the guy that sings duets with Rihanna.

So why is drake then trying to act hard with following quote from his headline song “Tuck my napkin in my shirt, cause I’m just mobbin like that You know good and well that you don’t want a problem like that You gone make someone around me catch a body like that No, don’t do it, please don’t do it”

c’mon a dude that sings duets with Rihanna going to harm somebody?

Jay, Ye, and T.I. have duets with Rihanna… Your point again?

Jay, Ye, and T.I. were not singing but rather rapping. That’s my point

OVO 12/23/2011 at 12:59 PM

You all are missing the point.

Sometime people make irrational decisions and (it would be nice) if someone makes us realize that it was a stupid decision. The tat artist is very low. Most Artist don’t do face tat because they know people will regret it. I mean look at the chick. She don’t look like she knows what she is doing.

Yall are too busy hating on a nigga that made it and (he’s so wack that he’s making millions, right??? and probably making it off yall)

I bet all of you have banged with at least one of his songs… and probably know the shit by heart.

STOP HATING

You’re the one missing the point. None of the previous comments hated on Drake’s music. I for one ride out to a lot of his tracks, hence why I think he’s a really good hip pop artist. I bang Lil Wayne every now and then too, but I still poke fun at him wearing jeggings.

I can like an artist and not agree with everything he/she does. That’s how you express individualism, not hate… I like what I like, you like what you like, and if we disagree, that’s cool too.

Now here’s the point that you missed, most people find comic relief in Drake’s tough guy stance. What’s the difference in her tattooing her face with “Drake” and you blogging as “OVO”…yikes!?!

Yo this nigga that swingin from Drakes nuts under OVO name was born in a lake of boiling dicks tho.

Naw, OVO is dead right. “NO” tatoo artist should have been this irresponsible. Look at that chicks face. Noboby wants that and if I was Drake I would be pissed too. About 6 years ago my tattoo guy refused to put a dagger on my neck… I’m glad he did… I got a real job these days.

But now here’s the thing; first, just cause the dude sings love songs in a rap world don’t mean he cant get mad. second, most of yall are just internet thugs anyway, just talkin’ dodo… i would do this, i would do that, meanwhile you wouldn’t sh*t!

The hate on Drake is irrationally strong. I’m happy that he’s making money.

The idiots on here can’t seem to understand that he’s RAPPING, not documenting his life in a 100% nonfiction manner. When half of you idiots rap, you say shit thats a little off the wall too. His shit isn’t even that crazy. Oh well, he threatened someone on headlines, and didn’t even name names. Get over it you hanging on to his coattail ass niggas.

He’s a mostly positive harmless good music making dude.

I think Drake is over reacting if his reaction is “real” cause he could use this to fuel more free advertising for his most recent release.

What I don’t understand is how Drake made a fuckin song about it repeating that shit so many times so how is he gonna get mad that some dumb fan actually did it? Don’t blame the tattoo artist he was just doing his job.

Speaking from a neutral ass standpoint…

That’s true… he did make a song asking his fans to get his name tattoo’d on them… but, not on their forehead. That shows a lack of intelligence for both the fan & the tattoo artist.

so if he asks his fans to go jump off a bridge they should? as a tattoo artist have more respect for your craft. why would you tat someone to make fun of you OWN work.

If he knows he has some crazy loyal ass fans and tells them (for some stupid ass reason) to jump off a bridge.. he shouldn’t be surprised if one of the millions has a bad day, listens to it, and does it. Then he shouldnt yell at the bridge architect.

The girl begged the tattoo artist and he did what she asked, she wouldve gotten it regardless. I feel like he has relatively nothing to do with it.

The artist should have had some professional integrity and refused to do the tat. Its like a crack dealer selling drugs to a pregnant woman.. you gotta follow some virtues. This woman obviously has a couple of screws loose. My tattoo artist that I go to refuse to put girlfriends name on customers necks.

Yo did you read the whole interview? The tattoo artist asked this broad 3 times b…3 muthafucken times if she’s sure about this. Then he told her the consequences of this tattoo. Regardless of his cautions to prevent her from doing it, she nonetheless agreed to tattoo this goofnugget R&B dude’s name on her forehead. This is this dudes job to permanent ink shit on peoples flesh, why should he refuse? That”s his job and he got kids to feed and pay the bills. I understand if he did the tattoo without warning her but that’s not the case here. The broad take all the responsibilities and that sensitive Jew Drake.

as stated before, the tattoo artist warned her, at that point the dumb decision to put Drakes name on her forehead is in her hands. I don’t care if its a artist name or a picture of and ice-cream if someone is dumb enough to forgo warning and still get their face tatted, that’s their problem not tattoo artist. Drake…well I don’t have words for him and his idle threats.
