We just came across this story that takes a look at Rihanna’s latest video “You Da One” shot by her long time video director Melina and some photography work by the famed Sølve Sundsbø pictured above. Rihanna is on the left. Well they do say that imitation is the best form of flattery right?

you can’t realistically be sued for these things so this is all academic.
a photographer’s work is copyrighted – the actual work. it doesn’t prevent another photographer from staging and shooting the exact same way.
that’s real – and i don’t have a problem with it.
