The cake is being flown by private plane from Betty Crocker’s Minneapolis home to Los Angeles for Betty White’s birthday. The chocolate cake is layered with chocolate mousse and rich chocolate ganache. The red, orange and magenta cake is decorated with fondant roses, shimmery edible pearls and golden candles. A small replica of Betty’s beloved dog Pontiac is hidden among the roses.
