Wow, this would be a game changer. Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff has approved legislation that would make it possible for workers who answer emails on their smartphones after work hours eligible for overtime pay. Although, normally when you’re getting after hours emails you don’t get paid hourly for overtime, but we think some sort of compensation would definitely be nice for hard workers.

people who usually answer their emails after hours in the US are salaried workers…not hourly…so they wouldn’t get overtime.
