In addition to having one of the best career revivals in history, don’t call me Marky Wahlberg, reveals in a new Men’s Journal interview he has the heart of a lion and would have fought to the finish had he been aboard a hijacked jet on September 11th.
“If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn’t have went down like it did. There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, ‘OK, we’re going to land somewhere safely, don’t worry.’”
Wahlberg has said in the past he may have been on one of the jets which left from Boston if he didn’t make a last minute decision to fly to Toronto a week earlier.

oh come on, you don’t say shit like that. first of all it makes you seem like a arrogant hugeheaded asshole who thinks he’s the biggest badass on the planet, chuck norris style, and can save everything and everyone.
Everybody likes to think that, everybody thinks that oh if I was in a sitiuation like that I would’ve done something. Well you don’t know what happened there. Of course everybody’s smart after all is said and done and we know what they did with those planes. The passangers didn’t know what’s gonna happened. I’m pretty sure those dumbass terrorists didn’t say: “yo, oh hi, this is your new captain speaking, we’re gonna fly this thing into the WTC tower”. They probably thought it’s a hijack for money, and doing anything drastic might leave them with no pilots and most likely dead, basic survival instincts. There’s a lot to it. It’s an unimaginable situation and you don’t know what you would’ve done.
Everybody likes to think they would’ve done sth, and everybody wishes those people in those planes would’ve done sth. But you just don’t say stuff like that.
