During a concert this week at the Palladium in Hollywood, singer Lauryn Hill took a few moments to reflect on the passing of Whitney Houston saying:
“Aren’t you tired of losing our people?” Hill asked the crowd. “I am. Love your artists. When they falter, hold them accountable. But love them. People are now showing Whitney Houston the love and respect she should have received throughout her career — through all of it.”
“I’m in transition still,” Hill continued to share with her fans. “Be patient with me. New is coming.”

She’s right. MJ and Whitney Houston could’ve used the love we all displayed when they died.
FOH with this bullshit. jackson and houston were loved by MILLIONS before they died. MJ by BILLIONS.

I was at that show and unfortunately it was a far less emotional moment than what this post makes it out to be. Lauryn didn’t put her heart into it. I was sad because I am a huge fan and have loved and supported her throughout her career. Very disappointed in the show Lauryn. I wish you all the best- please remember that your fans deserve love too. We come out, pay our hard earned money in the recession to see you. Don’t rush through it for the rest of the tour, please

i believe in laurn because i’ve seen her in concert twice before all the other “things” started going on so i’m hoping she’s on the rise…
I wish people would stop saying that people didn’t care about Whitney. I can’t stand the saying, “They don’t care about you until your gone.” It’s so not true. Stop generalizing everybody because I know a lot of people were effected by her death and knew her impact on this world.
I WANT TO SAY LAUREN HILL IS SUPERB BUT WHITNEY HOUSTON WAS WORLD WIDE DIVA CLASS. Miss Miss Houston, and so sad by her passing help people realize she had demonds that was all the pressure she indured during her life especially with bobby brown he hit her, during her marriage so, nobody tell me he was her soul mate and that he loved her the same as she loved him. Clive davis disgusts he he should have cancelled that concert for his birthday as whitney was dead 4 floors above, she was just an easy earner to lace his pockets with. He showed her no respect or compasion that she had died, in such tragic circumstances and, i hope Bobbi Kristina doesnt sign with him and arasta she need different direction from him should she want to sing for entertainment business. We loved you whitney you was a gift from god rest well now.
Jarole your so right Whitney elizabeth Houston was world class she was the Voice and loved by all nationalitise. Her demons was drugs given her by bobby brown he can deny it and, tell people to say the same but like whitney said she wasnt taking them alone she was using them with him! As for ray J he was trying to do sex tape release on whitney how low down is him who suppose to be her on off lover. Clive davis is the worst he used her until she lost her voice, and turned to jennifer hudson and the like he just a money monger and, whitney was his prize pessesion but she failed because of the demons of a wrecked marriage and drugs given to her by bad boy bobby brown. Just hope bOBBI kRISTINA leaves that daddy of her alone and out of her live she needs Cissy to keep her on straight and narrow not her daddy and step brother!
Whitney Houston, had it all! She was special and she had the voice, nobody will ever ever be like her. She just couldnt cope hence why she turned to body brown after all he her husband and she did what he did he wanted bravo being bobby brown televised she had no choice but to be in it. You could tell, she had no choice but, to be like him and he ruined her he was the one always at court for DUI and not paying child support to his other children. His only daughter Bobbi Kris was troubled in that show even bobby browns other kids le princia bullied Bobbi Kris the kid is troubled by her parents past and i hope she aint heading the same way as her daddy! He is bad news always will be bet his new wifes been to rehab. Whitney is now at peace and out of it all with the Lord Amen
