Hate that they put that sell out, Nicki Minaj on the m.c. hot list. She’s not hiphop anymore. Did u hear her new song and see her grammy performance? What part of the game is that? Then she got the nerve to say it was a artistic expression. please. She’s having an identity crisis and all 4 singles she put have not sparked at all, so l don’t see why she’s on the hot list

Ok seriously, on a real Hip-Hop level, who the fuck puts Rick Ross, an Ad-lib rapper as number 1, an R&B diva as number 2, a rock artist at number 4, a pop barbie at #5 and one of the Legends below all of that like seriously. Where is Lloyd Banks? Where is Em( had one of the highest selling rap albums of the past year), Kendrick Lamar? And lets not forget J. Cole who was snubbed at the Grammys for best new artist. We can go on all day and make a top 30 list of “Hottest Mc of the year” (or hottest pop/R&B artist of the year as what that list defines) and the one’s who really deserve it will never get on it. Know why? because they wont sell out their shit for no crap list. If this was on some true lyrical shit, the TRUE Master of Ceremonies list, only 2 would survive out of that 10 and we all know who.

People, this listed is based off of their affect on pop culture and hard work last year. The top 3 were the hardest working and y’all can’t deny that. It may not have been what you wanted to hear from them (Rozay, Drake, Nicki, etc) but you can’t discredit their work ethic.
