Pop star Rihanna talks about how amazing it would be to play late singer Whitney Houston in a biopic with The Press Association.
“That would be something that I would have to give my entire life to do because I would want to really pull it off,” Rihanna told The Press Association. “That’s a huge, huge role and whoever does it has to do a good job.”
“My first song that I remember falling in love with was a Whitney Houston song — ‘I Will Always Love You,’” Rihanna said. “It was really inspiring and it made me develop a passion for music, so really she’s partly responsible for me being here in this industry.”
Other actresses being considered for the part include Vivica A. Fox, Jennifer Hudson, Meagan Goode, Jordin Sparks and Brandy. Do you have a preference?

I agree 100%!!! She has been talking about playing Whitney for the last 10 years so it would be good to see her do it! She wont be singing but the acting part Vivica will nail it!!!! The only issue i got is she might be a little old now to play whitney when she was young!

If vivica didn’t do all that surgery I would go with Viv. But if you look at all of brandy old performances from the 90s u saw Whitney. She imitated her all the time.

Well she has the drug addiction part down, the obvious stress would be the vocals.

This is a great idea but, what if we waited and let rihanna mature a lil bit more, i mean with all of the things she’s going through now its going to be a phycology issue to act those scenes.

Not in real life. Not in fake life. Not in no life would Rihanna be good to portray ANY “icons”. Have ya’ll listened to her speak? sing? act? She is terrible at two of the three. Mediocre at singing (at best).
