There’s a glitch in the matrix and Krystle Marie Reyes has found it. The 25-year old woman used Turbo Tax software to file her 2011 taxes claiming she earned income of $3,000,000 which caused her to be due a refund of just over $2 million. The Oregon Revenue Department even examined her refund because of the size but determined it was genuine allowing Krystle to spend about $150,000 on the Visa card she was issued containing her refund. Officials didn’t even know something was foul until Krystle reported her debit card missing starting the investigation into the funds….
The IRS won’t be happy about this.

I bet she reported the debit card stolen so she could try to get the money back that she spent. My credit card was stolen once and around $100 was charged on it, and the company credited the money back to my card once I got the new one…

I didn’t know working at the corner can make you over $3 mil… This is insane, and I hope people realize how qualified you have to be in order to be a government employee. Maybe they should tighten up the standards a bit? Keep in mind where that money came from – from our taxes.
