Boxing Officials To Review Pacquiao-Bradley Decision!

by admin on 06/12/2012 · 11 comments

Top Rank CEO promoter Bob Arum who represents both Manny Pacquiao and Tim Bradley has requested the Nevada attorney general review the results of a fight which two judges awarded to Tim Bradley giving him a split decision victory against one of the sport’s top fighters. Says Arum:

“Manny Pacquiao clearly won the fight by, like, 10 rounds to two or 11 rounds to one. It wasn’t even a close fight. The decision is inexplicable. It’s not really for me to comment about the decision, it’s up to the Nevada State Athletic Commission. I speak the truth. I think that Tim Bradley is a lovely young man who tried very hard, but Bradley lost that fight. Period. I’m not going to say anything in a situation like this to cater to [Bradley's manager] Cameron Dunkin, or to cater to Tim Bradley. They’re lovely, nice people, and I applaud them. But Pacquiao won this fight, and he won it easily. Period. End of story….[People] who say that, ‘well, Arum is faking it,’ and that ‘he really maneuvered this to get the rematch,’ they’re not alone in saying that. That is, of course, not true. In fact, that’s preposterous…”

If you saw the fight like we did you will also agree there is no way Tim Bradley could have been a victor, so if the fix wasn’t in what happened here?!

why would boxing *want* to do that? that’s the big money fight everyone wants to see – a fight that puts the two biggest PPV kings together.

Arum is acting like he really wants an investigation. It’s only because there is so much backlash and are talking about refusing to watch the rematch. He knows HE fixed that fight!

If they review this fight then they should review Pac’s fights with Marquez since Marquez was robbed two of the three times
