Is This New York Knicks Ad Sexist?

by admin on 11/08/2012 · 6 comments

After this photo was snapped by ESPN reporter Darren Rovell and posted on Twitter the MSG network has bowed to the pressure of social media and will remove the ads. From Rovell:

On Tuesday, the company said it would take down all posters associated with its recent advertising campaign, which generated buzz but also was considered controversial. After ESPN.com contacted the MSG Network about an ad seen in the New York area on Tuesday morning, the network confirmed that ad, as well as what is believed to be at least three other similar-type ads, would be completely removed from all its locations.

I don’t see how rating a woman’s beauty on a 1-10 scale is sexist? Now in the other hand if the add said Go watch the game and leave your woman at home to take care of the kids and wash the dishes, that would be sexist. People need to stop being so sensitive about this shit.

Women who are picked up when the knicks are at home now know their number. Lol “baby life’s been hard so I can’t afford cable, but I’m a man with pride and enough of it to approach you. with your seven like body and 6 face.”
