A new documentary by Ken Burns, Sarah Burns and David McMahon which will be playing at select theaters revisits the infamous Central Park jogger case in 1990 when 5 teens were coerced to accept plea bargains only to be found innocent over a decade later. Despite being proven innocent, the men all still in the shadows of the incident.

A lot of your fav NY politicians made it big off of this case at the expense of many young black souls & you can’t go back.

It’s Ken Burns, so you know it’s gonna be ill. I was only a kid when this happened, but it’s so disheartening every time somebody gets out of jail after serving years & years in jail over a crime they didn’t commit.
Gonna check for this as soon as it hits the net.
I was only 11 or 12 when this happened but I remember it like it was yesterday. Those boys (men now) never stood a chance against being black and being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The sleazy gutter trash better know as the NYPD, had the ENTIRE city convinced that these men were guilty. They single handedly tried and convicted them in the court of public opinion way before the case ever went to trial.
There is no amount of money or apologies that can ever undo this wrong. The only sliver of justice that could ever be served, would be to prosecute and convict every cop and detective who coerced the fake confessions.
Everyone needs to watch this documentary! Where can we see it in its entirety? The preview alone has my blood boiling!!!!
