Rapper Slick Rick was apparently booed yesterday when he performed during the halftime show of the game between the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets. Matters were made worse when social media exploded when after his performance Daily News reporter Frank Isola had this to tweet, “The Nets are claiming that halftime performer Slick Rick is a “Hip Hop legend.” On what planet, exactly?”
