It has just been announced that designer Alexander Wang will head over to Balenciaga to be their new creative director.
“Balenciaga and PPR are pleased to announce the appointment of Alexander Wang to the post of Creative Director of the Balenciaga fashion house, as of today,” said a joint statement from Balenciaga and its owner, the PPR luxury group.
“I am deeply honoured to embark on this new role for a brand and house that I have such great admiration and respect for,” Wang was quoted as saying in the statement.
Sounds like a good move to us!

no it’s not. he’s not able to make technical and complex clothes. He’s just a stylist for me. he has not the technical level. He just do t shirts .

nothing streetwear about this… the technology that he uses for his negative space is so cool. he’s the best thats out there.
Great choice! Love his ideas and clothing. His last show was beautiful, the cut out dresses, cut out boots and then the the ending when they turned glow in the dark. Looking forward to what he does.
