An artist with a deal needs to pay for producers and promotion, and will not get any type of money back from the label until they drop an album (containing a couple of hot singles) that the label can push. That $2 mil will disappear, especially after he blows it on dumb shit. Please tell me which industry you are talking about
Tru but seeing how he paid next to nothing for his current street album(prob just paid to record and mix it). I dont think he is going to spend crazy bread to make his next effort. Working with the big name producers prob don’t matter to him. Depending on his deal most of it will prob go to promo. But still he’ll have a good chunk when his album is done.
