You may not be familiar with the name Rudi Dekkers but he is the man who in the summer of 2000 trained Mohamed Atta and Marwan al-Shehhi, the two men who are believed to have flown jets into the World Trade Center, a series of events which he says ruined his life. In his book “Guilty By Association” Dekkers detailed how after having no idea the pilots in training were terrorists federal authorities raided his business leading to the loss of his $12 million fortune, the disintegration of his 20 year marriage and numerous death threats.
Now Dekkers has even worse problems on his hand after he was busted earlier this month by an undercover agent in a plot to distribute 18.74 kilograms of cocaine and 860 grams of heroin on his jet.

Well now its kind of hard to feel sorry for him after he gets busted for coke. It defeats the purpose.

I look at it differently. If I believe what he says is true in the video, he did nothing wrong, but now the government has blackballed him from earning the living of his choosing, which is a flight school……That is like you owning a liquor store and you sell a bottle of liquor to someone that gets drunk and kills someone behind the wheel of a car, they don’t make you close your liquor store or stop you from opening a new one…
When your fortune was 12 million dollars and you lose it because of being black balled for something you didn’t do….It makes sense he turned to trafficking drugs. I do not condone it, but I understand it.

most flight schools and private jet companies are covers for drug operations – the margins are so thin otherwise that they’re unsustainable as a business.

And let me get this straight since you think I’m an idiot…….According to you, he was moving bricks the whole time, and then the 911 incident happens and he gets black balled by the FBI so he continues moving bricks after they are watching him? Well I actually knew Rudi quite well in 2000 and it always seemed to me he was a man who liked to take short cuts. He is a character that is for sure, and somehow it does not suprise me about the drug busts. The notion that he was involved in the 9 11 event I am not buying, The only involvement I beleive is possible, is the publicity he saw possible after the event. Rudi would publicise his granma’s funeral if there was a buck to be made. Wally his business partner seemed to be a very nice older guy and again , no way do I see him involved in drugs, Rudi was very likely the one who screwed around with his plane at Orlando airport.
I am sure Rudi will attempt to negotiate his way out of trouble, that is his style.
