It’s because the American Prison Idustrial Complex is big business. Statistics indicate that racial/ethnic minorities, particularly black and Hispanic males, face a disproportionately high risk of incarceration in the United States. Most of whom have been convicted of non-violent crimes. It’s modern day slavery.

also it’s because drug laws are racist.

the same way prohibition laws were enacted to be nationalist against Jews and immigrants in the 20s.

for example: those arrested for drug offenses are predominantly not-white. however, pound for pound – the biggest cash crop in the United States is marijuana – 22 million pounds for a cash value of $36 billion.

Now when’s the last time you heard a farmer (almost all white) get popped for growing dope??

Good idea, be careful you don’t get caught and get stitched up!
