The announcement was made that soccer star David Beckham would be joining the Paris Saint-Germain team during a press conference held at the Parc des Princes stadium. Here is Beckham’s statement to reporters on his new team:
“I consider myself to be part of this club…in helping the French league to grow and also helping this club to be one of the biggest powerhouses in football.”

It also should be mentioned that all his wages is going to charity. $277,462.50 US a week for 5 months. Pretty classy man
He’ll get a lot of it back from taxes. Still a good look though…
