The ever opinionated Karl Lagerfeld took the time to address FLOTUS’ new fringe while on the French talk show Le Petit Journal saying “I don’t understand the change of hair … frankly, the fringe was a bad idea. It’s not good.” He proceeded to say she looks like a “une speakerine de LCI” (an anchor on a French news network). Although the designer has never been shy voicing his thoughts on pop-culture icons, throughout the years he did have some positive things to share about the First Lady, previously telling Metro that he “adored Mrs Obama” and that he thinks her face “is magical.”
