In an exclusive to the New York Post former Miami Dolphins quarterback and NFL legend Dan Marino admits he has fathered a child with CBS Sports colleague Donna Savattere despite being married to his wife Claire for nearly 30 years and having six kids together. Marino, who will be part of this year’s Super Bowl telecast, met the then-35-year-old production assistant while on the job in New York and in 2005 they had a little baby girl. Here’s what he said in a written statement to the Post on his 28th anniversary to his wife:
This is a personal and private matter. I take full responsibility both personally and financially for my actions now as I did then. We mutually agreed to keep our arrangement private to protect all parties involved. My wife and I have been married for almost 30 years and have six children together.

This “event” of Marino’s won’t even be talked about for very long. Why? Because he’s white and male. In this messed up society “cheating” by a married man is the norm. Tiger Woods went through hell and back because of what he did. Why? Because he’s a Black man. CBS Sports should fire Marino immediately because not doing so will say loud and clear that CBS Sports supports this kind of behavior. Come on CBS, grow a pair and get rid of this loser.
