I agree, Alicia Keys is very talented but i have seen a transition in her vocals since she had her baby. I hope that she can find her voice again, which i’m sure she willit’s probably a transitional period. Anyway, i came across a Jewish Soul Singer named Amy Faithe featured on WSHH that covered the Star Spangled Banner and http://youtu.be/H4Prq2EWUv8 unfortunately she should of taken Alicia’s place this past Sunday.

I KNOW THEY HOW IT SHOULD BE PLAYED AND DONE…..NOT LIKE THESE SO CALLED PROFESSIONAL SINGERS……….WHAT WOULD BE WROUNG TO HAVE THIS DONE….THE CURRENT MILITARY AND THOSE OF US THAT RETIRED AND THOSE WHO ARE FORMER MEMBERS COULD STAND UP AND SALUTE THE FLAG WE ALL DEFENED……ASK ANY VET OUT THERE……IT WOULD BE NICE TO HEAR IT AGAIN BY A MILITARY BRASS BAND……I GET SO UPSET WHEN I HEAR THESE SINGERS WHEN THEY PUT THEIR OWN WORDS AND ACTIONS INTO AND NOT THE WAY IT WAS WRITTEN, PLEASE STOP THIS KILLING OF OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM…PUT THE RIGHT STUFF TOGETHER SO MY GRAND CHILDREN WELL KNOW THE WAY ITS SUPPOSED TO SOUND……….” a vet who is sick and upset”
