For this week’s My Life segment Javid sits down with Mark Lakin at his art studio located in Manhattan at 750 Greenwich street right across the street from popular restaurant The Spotted Pig. Mark tells us how he left his job as a corporate lawyer at the top of his game to pursue his dreams eventually opening up a studio and starting his own Epic Road travel company which creates one of a kind experiences for clients. He reveals how addictive success and money had become and how his travels around the world, especially in Africa, provided an important lesson in how other people define happiness and a good life. Finally Mark Lakin tells us a story behind one of our favorite photos in his gallery.
