Kendall and Kylie Jenner are following in their siblings footsteps and building the groundwork for their own little empire. The two have linked with the ‘Kalifornia’ based retailer to launch their namesake brand on Friday at all of it’s 644 stores. The collection will include pieces priced from $24.50 to $79.50, and will include chambray button-downs, chiffon tops, high-waisted shorts, jeans, T-shirts, dresses, jackets, bandeaus and scarves. Says Gary Schoenfeld, president and CEO of the brand:
We see them entering the sweet spot of our target customer, and we look at building a brand with them, not just creating a moment. Importantly, at a younger age than others, they have been able to really establish their own credibility as influencers on fashion. I have nieces who are 22 and 21 and a daughter who is a senior in high school, and all three of them keep telling me about their Instagrams and their tweets and seeing them in magazines and on the E network. Their credibility absolutely aligns with our target customer base.
