Megan Thode a former graduate school student of Pennsylvania’s Lehigh University is suing the school where her father is a professor for $1.3 million saying a C+ she got during her second year ruined her earning potential. Megan’s lawyer says his client was not able to become a licensed professional counselor as she dreamed since she needed a B or above – and she may have been forced out because she was in the program for free and a gay/lesbian rights activist. Although lawyers for the school have called the lawsuit “frivolous” Meghan insists that she’s lost over a million since she now works as a drug-and-alcohol counselor.
Any chance she wins this?

Yeah! Forget about bring personally responsible for ANYTHING! Of I get a D, I think it’s fair that I get part of the person who got an A grade. He don’t need no A and if I get part of his grade I can get a C+

What a spoiled little bitch. Her dad teaches at the University, probably getting a discounted tuition, if not free. And then sues the school cause she can’t get her shit together and hand in some work passable as a “B” …. Bitch Please!
Students should be able to do this more. The school system is very biased and at times unfair. Especially the schools that try to get more money from you by making you take placements test. The worse part of it is, if you are unable to pass the test, you are forces to take developmental courses which don’t have credits. Also you are prevented from taking additional courses until your place into the proper English or math course. I find it funny how there’s no placement exams for other subjects. Schools are evil businesses… running a monopoly on students. Find a way to trick them because if they have the opportunity to screw you over, they will. Im still trying to build a case against my institution. The same course my summer professor failed me, is not the same course another professor passed me. I really understand why some people say fuck this shit! but then again i know why we need. With out the degree, we can qualify for jobs. Most of the general courses that are required aren’t needed in the real world. I still have yet to see where 4p^6-2p^2z/2pz + 3x+4y=6 equation is used in my field of work.
I agree! schools stay dicking people for insane amounts of money because of peoples judgement! Not everyone learns the same and your forced to take courses that REALLY don’t have use in everyday life! I don’t understand how we pay so much for school yet these foreigners come here to America and get free education!

This is dumb and the two people who posted about schools dick you over are stupid too….FIRST OFF the reason your DUMB ASS has to take a placement is TO PLACE YOU IN THE RIGHT LEVEL OF COURSES!!!! If you do well on it, then you take the right course and if you fail the test, YES YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE REMEDIAL COURSE!!!! It actually saves your DUMBASS TIME AND MONEY!!!!
AND IT IS COLLEGE….the purpose especially on the UNDERGRAD LEVEL is to make you a well rounded person….YOU KNOW HOW THEY DO THAT, by exposing your dumbass to DIFFERENT COURSES!!!! IF you wanted to just focus on one thing, TAKE YOUR DUMBASS to a TRADE SCHOOL…
FINALLY this a GRADUATE PROGRAM….MOST GRAD PROGRAMS REQUIRE YOU TO GET A B OR BETTER IN ALL THE CLASSES YOU TAKE TO GET YOUR MASTERS OR GRADUATE CERTIFICATE…..THE BITCH KNEW THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE….
