While watching the Toronto Raptors play his hometown team the Washington Wizards Wale got word that the play-by-play announcer Matt Devlin was making it known he had no idea who he was, so he took a trip to the booth to confront him. Turns out rappers, who talk more trash than just about anyone, can’t take a joke?

I usually don’t side with white ppl on many issues but in this case Wale needs to sit his ass down. If you’re not known, you’re not known. And the announcer was right, he’s NOT Drake!!!
Isn’t it ironic that this is the same dude who didn’t want dark skinned women in his videos but is now being dissed in comparison to a light skinned dude? So the tables turned on his ass. The commentator could’ve said “He’s no Rick Ross”. Hell, I’m sure he knows who Rick Ross is. The bottom line is NO ONE IS CHECKING FOR Wale like that. Not one popular blog has pics of Wale being at ANY game nor do they keep him in light (forget heavy) rotation of their conversations. However if that was Drake, JayZ, Diddy or some other FAMOUS person, they would’ve had pics up everywhere. If Wale would’ve just ignored what was said, maybe I finally would’ve started checking for his music, thinking he’s a smart guy so maybe his music is worth my time and attention. Women look at how a guy handles his situations. When we see a guy whining, especially over something small, we know he’s not a man. Men don’t whine and complain, they ignore bullshit & continue being about their business.
This is the main reason he can’t get ahead. If the women like you as a man i.e. find you attractive, like your personality, can tell you have confidence and you put out good music, then they’re going to buy your music. Then, the men will follow the women. Pac said this a long time ago and it’s true.
