Even water gulping Senator Marco Rubio seems to think Lil Wayne’s claim that he is the new Tupac is far fetched. Do the Republicans have a real candidate on their hands who can actually relate to pop culture?

And so the race for minority votes begins. Well played, Senator… well played.

nah, you’re wrong here… whoever the guy who did this interview definitely follows politics lol… Rubio talked about 2Pac and west coast rap about 3 years ago when a reporter found out he liked rap music… since “we” found out about it, younger reporters have been asking him about it for the past year.

Here is the most recent thing I remember when XXL quoted his GQ feature… it’s not always the race aspect being played and being that he is a minority, your comment isn’t valid lol

Thanks for bringing the interview to my attention. I wasn’t aware of that.

Although, I do realize that Rubio is himself a minority, believe me when I tell you that it’s no mistake that the Republicans are using him as a (pawn, perhaps) means to try to bridge the Grand Canyon-like gap that stands between the Grand Ol’ Party & minorities. Especially after losing two consecutive primary elections… (to a black man.)

Not to mention there being a mid-term election of the senate, which he’s a member of, in a couple of years. (Senators don’t have the best reputation with the general public, as of late.) He’s laying the ground work for re-election not only for himself, but, for others in his party who have historically in past elections completely ignored &/or demonized minority voters.

They now realize that if they stand a chance at ever regaining control over this country, they now have to recognize the growing diversity of all demographics in this country. They’re no fools… you’re naive to assume otherwise.

This still doesn’t make me like him one bit. He’d never get my vote either!

Marco Rubio will be the next prez because the democrat isn’t winning in 2016…even if it’s Hillary, who’s getting older & has health issues.

Regardless, it’ll be sick if either of those 2 win – First female prez or first Latino prez.
