According to the rumor mill… X-Factor USA’s Simon Cowell is reportedly offering Beyonce Knowles a $100 Million contract to be a judge on the popular television show. With the firing of Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul, do you think Beyonce would be a good addition to the show?

Rumor has it that Diddy will be launching his own Television network called Revolt this year on 12/12/12 with Comcast with help from former MTV programming chief Andy Schuon.  Here are some more details:

Sean Combs, the entertainment impresario known as Diddy, is planning to launch a music-themed cable network, according to three sources with knowledge of his plans. The channel is called Revolt and is aiming to launch at the end of the year–12/12/12, to be specific.

Sources with knowledge of the Revolt playbook describe it as a music and music news channel with an urban skew. One described it as the old days of MTV, but for more of the African American audience. The venture is well funded, say the sources.

Former MTV programming chief Andy Schuon is involved with Revolt, according to sources. In 2006, Schuon headed up a music channel called International Music Feed (IMF), which was acquired by Ovation TV before being discontinued.

Comcast will provide distribution as part of its commitment to the FCC to help launch minority owned networks. In April, Comcast began soliciting proposals for “independent channels,” according to its press materials. It plans to launch 10 over the next eight years, including eight Hispanic or African American owned channels, and began accepting proposals for the first three last spring.

Sooo apparently talk show host Maury Povich is interested in having Justin Bieber clear up the paternity drama on his talk show according to reports.  the.LIFE Files says: “That Sh*t Cray!”

Pop icon and legend Madonna is rumored to be playing the halftime show for the 2012 Super Bowl XLVI.  Makes sense since the singer will be on a heavy promotional trail for new material to be released next year per her manager Guy Oseary.

Excited Much?

We heard that Apple may be announcing the release of the new version of the iPad at a press conference on March 2nd.  Among the new features will be the front-facing camera with Facetime video chat support which was not available on the first model.

So we heard that reality TV star Tila Tequila could possibly be releasing an XXX movie in the near future through a major partner.  Is this a case of when the checks stop coming in????

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon may be expecting their first child together….  Nick took to twitter to kind of clear up the rumors, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

Jay-Z has been giving his wife Beyonce driving lessons around the New York City area in the early morning hours, according to MTV UK.  We’re not sure how true this story is, since the source of the information is nameless… but we’re not mad at it!

We heard that Alicia Keys is in talks to star and produce in an adaptation of the Helene Cooper memoir entitled The House At Sugar Beach.  The movie is about the upbringing of author Helen Cooper in Liberia and the difficulties she had to overcome.  Here is a synopsis of the film:

Journalist Cooper has a compelling story to tell: born into a wealthy, powerful, dynastic Liberian family descended from freed American slaves, she came of age in the 1980s when her homeland slipped into civil war. On Cooper’s 14th birthday, her mother gives her a diamond pendant and sends her to school. Cooper is convinced that somehow our world would right itself. That afternoon her uncle Cecil, the minister of foreign affairs, is executed. Cooper combines deeply personal and wide-ranging political strands in her memoir. There’s the halcyon early childhood in Africa, a history of the early settlement of Liberia, an account of the violent, troubled years as several regimes are overthrown, and the story of the family’s exile to America. Java king Starbucks may be in talks to purchase Jamba Inc’s Jamba Juice franchise.  Since reports started hitting the media Jamba Juice’s stock has skyrocketed.   Let’s see what happens….

Conan O’Brien will be performing live onstage at the Dodge Theater in Phoenix, AZ on April 30th.  Tickets are said to go on sale Monday March 8th @ Ticketmaster.  It is not sure what exactly the show will be about, but we will provide more info as it is available.

Ridley Scott will be in the directors chair for the Monopoly movie set to hit theaters in 2012.  It’s going to be pretty interesting to see how they turn a board game into a feature film.
