If anyone saw that gold medal game and saw that fourth quarter should realize this man is the best player in the game and he got the job done when it counted. Haters please respect the man
His daughters are beautiful. He seems to be a great dad, and that’s for real. That sad, he’s probably the most talented player on the planet, but has an ego to match. If you’ve ever had a boss who was an asshole, you or a coworker probably did things to sabotage him, at some point.
While talented, being in L.A., and a diehard Laker fan since 1960, it’s been disheartening for me to watch how he publicly berates teammates. He’s polar opposite of Magic, who uplifted everyone around him. As happens with those bosses that no one likes, people quit on them. That’s exactly what the Lakers did in that last game against Boston, they quit on Kobe. Sometimes it subconscious, but it happens everyday that people just lose their will to be a part of a certain situation. I hope he learned something from that series, but maybe not.
Only a person that grew up without the loving, nuturing, protective guidance of a father would look at that last picture in any way except admiration. This is nothing more than a beautiful moment between a doting father and children who view him as their world. It is a very beautiful moment.
