Leona Helmsley Dies of Heart Failure

Leona Helmsley “The Queen of Mean” passed away yesterday of heart failure at the age of 87. She ran the successful hotel chain Helmsley Hotels with her husband Harry Helmsley, and was convicted in 1989 of tax evasion.

She was the ORIGINAL Anna Wintour/Miranda Priestly or real estate. We lost Brooke Astor a few days ago, and now Leona Helmsley. There’s a changing of the guard right before our eyes.
