HELL NO!!!! Lil Wayne lyrics are weak. He talks about nothing but money, material things, sex and himself, which means he doesn’t have the mind span to talk about social issues to encourage education, self awareness and lving positive life. I left off he talks about glorifying the ghetto as if it is the place everyone wants to live in poor and lastly alcohol.
Kanye is one the best especially after “Diamonds” single. Great lyrics.
Also pro-black rap artist Paris and Chuck D are great lyricist that make you think.

Kanye has waaaaaaaack lyrics, but is a dope producer and song maker.
Wayne is weak lyricaly too. Nas, Jay-Z, Royce Da 5′9, Big, Pac, Eminem (in his prime), Joe Budden, Ice Cube etc etc are all artist who poses lyrical ability.
But it also depends on the genre of hiphop music, a gangster rapper almost never get called lyrical, why? just cuz u talk bout drugs and stuff like dat some times doesnt mean u aint lyrical.
Ice Cube talked bout bangin, drive-by and all that, Jay-Z talked bout drugs all the time etc etc.
People just think concious rappers = lyrical artists.

yeah Lloyd Banks is waay better than Wayne. The problem with his music was that he let 50 direct his music in a way that he really didn’t want.
The only thing Wayne is better than Banks is his flow. Wayne is overrated, these kids even calls him the greatest rapper of ALL TIME now. They’re just followin wit the flow, they dont follow their own opinion and taste.
