Nas Clears Up Kelis BREAK-UP Rumors…

Per Nas’ NYC Hot 97 radio interview this morning, he and Kelis are doing fine and have not SPLIT even though he wasn’t wearing his wedding ring. He also went on to say that the reason their MTV Reality show didn’t come out was because it was just plain ol’ BORING…
Nas’ new album N*GGER featuring the single “Be A N*gger Too” comes out later this year. What are your true thoughts on the first single???

I think they are like the ying and the yang of celebrity couples ..opposites attract. But the question is for how long? I see Nas as being more of the layied back soul, while Kelis on the other hand is shaking her milk shake all over the place. I love Kelis and Nas I just think this album has put too much on their relationship..shit call it Nicca or Negro Rap. Why does everything has to be so controversial just to sell…is hip hop really dead or are we killing it?

My opinion on the first single is good lyrics, weak production as par the last 2 nas albums, strong lyrics, weak production. one.

Hmmm….I will give it a listen….. I do have 3 of his albums!! Yeah they are a real couple! People only have so much drama in their lives..and if you are trying to be positive you work out any issues.

The single is hot! The beat is pretty simple tho’, just that drum loop. I’m biased tho’. I love Nas! And I’m super excited cuz he’ll be in my city, Seattle on Friday - I can’t wait! Who’s heard “War Is Necessary”? That’s another one of the new songs, allegedly, and it’s great! I really hope the release date doesn’t get pushed back any further than July.
