Series Documents Some of Hip-Hop’s Most Influential and Respected Artists.
(September 24, 2007–Los Angeles, CA)— The Coalition, the firm behind the careers of EVE and FAT JOE, and VH-1 have partnered together to bring music fans a new series that brings some of hip-hop’s well known and controversial artists together with “Bridging the Gap.” This half hour series documents two established artists who come together for the first time to explore their shared musical passions. In each episode these artists who share a mutual admiration and respect for the other will, in the span of a day, discuss their lives and music while creating a new track produced by one of today’s hottest producers.
Premiering on October 1 at 11pm on Vh1, “Bridging the Gap” features Eve and Queen Latifah as they come together for the first time to record with Cool & Dre. Directly following at 11:30pm part two will feature Snoop Dogg and The Game as they discuss how they have influenced each other and record the song “To The Top” together.
