T.I. And Ludacris Fued HEATS BACK UP

Platinum rapper T.I., also known as Clifford Harris Jr., once buried the hatchet with rapper Ludacris but not for long. T.I. made comments stating bluntly that Ludacris did not deserve a 2007 Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. He feels his LP, KING, was the hottest rap album out. It’s hard for me because I love both T.I. and Ludacris, but I must admit T.I.was holding ish DOWN!!!! Hence KING!!!! Well here is a statement from T.I. ranting about the matter:
“I had the album of the year whether I won a Grammy for it or not. I think numbers show that. I think that if you go out to anybody on the streets and ask them, they’ll tell you the same thing. Come on, man, who in hip hop doesn’t know that? If you a supporter of hip hop, who doesn’t know that KING is the only platinum that dropped last year…that was platinum by the time the new year’s bell rung? At 12:01, January 1, 2007, who had the hottest album of the year? I think unanimous.”
Do you think T.I. should of got the award instead of Ludacris?

TI IS SOOOOOOO RIGHT.I LOVE TI HE WAS IN PHILLY YESTERDAY AND I WANTED TO GET TO THIS MAN!BUT HE DID HAVE A BETTER ALBUM THIS YR THEN LUDDA.NOW,DONT GET ME WRONG LUDDA IS THE MAN ITS JUST THEY SHOULD HAVE GIVIN TI HIS PROPS.I HOPE THEY WILL REMAIN FRIENDS AND NOT LET AN AWARD GET THEM TO DISLIKE EACH OTHER AND CREATE BEEF.THATS WHAT THE WHITE FOLKS WANT.

Being that I’m a georgia peach a lot of us feel like this shit is stupid…T.I needs to get off that shit, atlanta people support eachother for the most part and that is what made it possible for them to all of them to come up. So they need to squash this!!!

I hate when these artists talk about their sales and have no real idea what’s goin on… I guess “Kingdom Come” (1.2 mil scanned as of 12/31) wasn’t Hip Hop? Or maybe becuz TI put up 1.6 mil in 8 months that’s stronger than JAY at 1.2 in 6 weeks
Not sayin “Kingdom Come” was the album of the year - but if ur gonna throw ###’s - throw the right ones… and those numbers vs. “album of the year” credentials just show that sales arent the only thing to consider

Does it matter? Both are phenominal artist, and should be able to coexist in the Hip-Hop industry. We spend too much time with garbage about who’s the best. Maybe they should cut a single together and kill this mentally of one has to be better. Besides it’s the Grammy’s - what do they know about Hip Hop?

Man neither of those albums were album of the year. Lupe’s album “Lupe Fiasco Presents: Food and Liquor” was the album of the year, that album is classic. Not to say that “King” and “Release Therapy” weren’t good. “Chicken and Beer” was better than “Release Therapy” and “Urban Legend” was better than “King”. Straight Up.

They really need to get a grip, first of all, are yall telling me that they are beefin over an award, these bruthas need to get a reality check and realize this is the white man’s world!! They need to show some unity and make a hot song together, show everybody that it’s not about the awards, it’s about coming together to help each other grow as a family!!!! I hope that I’m still around to see people really get along and try to help one another!!!!

luda got it cuz hes more mainstream hip hop…not to be rude but white america identifies more with him because of his uppity beats and lyrics…
ti and his gutter roots havent totatlly crossed him into that frame of being totally accepted by white america YET…thye listen to him..but dont FEEL him yet…as we know they are the ones who ultimately BUY the music …
TI should ahve won..but we all know how politics go…
